03/01/06 - NMP'S CHARITY EFFORTS CONTINUE TO RAISE MONEY

For the past 4 years, NMP has been working in conjunction with Smash Enterprises and the Rocklea Rotary Club to help raise proceeds for charity. Employees from NMP and volunteers from Rocklea Rotary have run stalls at various markets around Brisbane prior to Christmas selling surplus Smash stock (bags, cooler bags, eskis, lunch boxes, drink bottles, CD cases etc), with all the profits being donated to charity.

The 2005 Christmas period proved to be another success for the initiative, raising approximately $6000 and bringing the total contribution over the 4 years to nearly $20,000. These funds have been distributed by Rocklea Rotary to support a wide range of charities at home and abroad during this time, most notably Camp Quality (helping children with cancer) and relief aid assistance during the Asian Tsunami of 2004.

NMP take great pride in organising these charity stalls and are passionate about giving something back to the community. We would like to thank Smash Enterprises and the Rocklea Rotary Club for their on-going support, and look forward to continuing our association with both of these organisations in the aim of raising more money for charity.

05/02/06 - NMP 1545 CONTINUES TO IMPRESS IN URANIUM MINES

The success and reputation of NMP 1545 at the Beverley uranium mines in South Australia continues to grow healthily, with the recent ordering of more product by the organisation. The mine is using NMP 1545 to coat stainless steel (904 grade) submersible pumps operating in an aggressive effluent sump. Prior to the use of a protective lining, the pumps struggled to withstand the challenging acidic/abrasive environment. However, since initial trials performed nearly 18 months ago and after several months in service, NMP 1545 has begun to build a history of reliable performance.

The impressive results achieved in the Beverley application have also quickly reverberated around the world, with Danish pump giant Grundfos also seeking samples for similar trial work on their pumps.

The extremely chemical-resistant and hardwearing (Kevlar-reinforced) properties of NMP 1545 make it well-suited to tackling the harsh demands of the mining industry, and it is this combination of key properties that we expect will eventually make NMP 1545 a market leader in this particular field.

01/03/06 - SALESPERSON WANTED

To better cater for the larger demand that has come with the growth of NMP, we are looking to appoint a salesperson/manager.

We are looking for a suitably qualified, technically oriented salesperson with a tenacious attitude to head the sales department of our company. Applicants will be required to meet, communicate with and provide support to all levels of the industry, from applicators to architects, to better serve our existing clientele and generate fresh sales.
