22/05/08 - RE-VERIFICATION BY GOOD ENVIRONMENTAL CHOICE AUSTRALIA
COMPLETE
NMP recently underwent full-scale assessment from Good Environmental
Choice Australia (GECA) to re-verify the eco-certification they
first received in 2004. The process included an inspection of their
premises by GECA, and once again, a full analysis of their products
and lifecycles under international standard ISO 14020 for architectural
and protective coatings.
NMP are proud to announce that their entire range once again satisfied
all the criteria and were duly re-certified. The re-verification
confirms NMP as a leader in eco-industrial technology as they remain
the only coating manufacturer in Australia to offer an entire range
under an officially recognised and independently tested standard.

10/07/08 - RE-BRANDING OF PRODUCTS AND NEW WEBSITE
NMP is splitting up and re-branding the
brand to more accurately reflect the capabilities of the products
within the large range. While the
brand is being retained and will still represent leading eco-industrial
coatings, the underwater-applied products will now be known as .
With the addition of
and ,
the decorative and UV resistant ranges, NMP now exclusively supply
4 different brands of products - all of which hold a unique place
in the market with niche product capability.
As you may have already noticed, the website has been re-structured
to accommodate the brand changes. To simplify navigation and make
it easier to get the information you want, each brand now has it's
own website branch where you'll be able to find all the information
you need on all the products - datasheets, MSDS, case histories,
brochures, photos etc. Simply click on the brand name on the NMP
homepage to reach the brand you want.
Note - The website
is still under construction and will be launched to coincide with
the product launch later this year.

22/07/08 - NMP CONTINUES TO TURN GREEN
NMP continue to expand their green interests with the announcement
of two important developments.
Firstly, Managing Director Jack Josephsen has been accepted onto
the board of Good Environmental Choice Australia, who were seeking
representatives from the manufacturing industry in an effort to
expand their board member base. Mr. Josephsen is excited about the
opportunity to help advance the GECA cause through strategic development
and believes he can contribute valuable input from a manufacturing
perspective.
Secondly, NMP have become a member of the Green Building Council
of Australia (GBCA). The mission of GBCA, as stated on their website,
is - "to develop a sustainable property industry for Australia
and drive the adoption of green building practices through market-based
solutions". NMP obviously sees the strong synergy between the
two entities and are proud to join such a reputable organisation
in their efforts for a more sustainable future.
